The Bristol Bronies One Year Perfectly Normal Meet
One year. One whole year since the first time we came together under the banner of “Bristol Bronies”.
Gosh it’s been a quick year. 52 meets over 52 weeks (well, okay, one did get cancelled at short notice), but overall we’ve come quite a long way together. Our early meets drew a measly three or four people, and yet now we have played host to well in excess of one hundred bronies from across the country – and some from outside of it too!
We’ve seen friendships flourish, relationships bloom, and an inordinately large amount of coffee, doughnuts and subway sandwiches be consumed. Together we’ve paid witness to the death of Batman, the coronation of Twilight, and survived the end of the world; and sweet Celestia we’ve done a hell of a lot of bumbling.
What better way to celebrate twelve months of swingin’ meets than with another perfectly innocuous meet? It’s done us well for the last twelve months, so let’s bring in another year with joy, laughter, and most importantly, friends.
