The nearest railway station is Bristol Temple Meads (approx. 440 feet away).

Upon arriving at Temple Meads, continue straight ahead after exiting the ticket barrier and leave via the side entrance into the Temple Meads car park. The Starbucks is located in a row of shops on the other side of the car park.

By bus

Most local buses will stop in proximity to Bristol Temple Meads. Use the First Bus website to find the best route for you.

Bristol Bus and Coach Station is 0.9 miles away. If opting not to walk, go to the bus stop on Nelson Street (B3), and from there catch the number 8 bus to Bristol Temple Meads (5 stops).

By car

The nearest parking is at Bristol Temple Meads, which has both indoor and outdoor parking spaces available at different day rates, and free parking for motorcycles.

Also nearby are the council-operated Temple Gate car park (0.3 miles away) and the Bristol First Hotel car park (0.2 miles away), the latter of which has a four hour maximum stay.

Bristol Temple Meads railway station has free short stay parking for up to 20 minutes—which may be useful for quick drop offs or pick ups—located at the front of the station.

By bike

A large amount of on-street cycle parking is located directly outside of the Starbucks. Sheltered (but not enclosed) bicycle parking is present nearby towards Temple Meads.

Wheelchairs

We typically meet in the upstairs area of this Starbucks, which is not wheelchair accessible. If you use a wheelchair and plan to attend, please give us a heads up and we’ll aim to congregate downstairs instead.

The entrance doors to this Starbucks are a split design and may be difficult to operate from a wheelchair. There is a call button on the outside of the door for those requiring assistance.

St Nick’s Food Market is generally wheelchair accessible, however it is frequently very crowded. The market’s layout is somewhat haphazard, with stalls able to encroach on the available walking space, making the exact layout of the area unpredictable. Although the food market is step-free from street level, other parts of the market are not.

Most of the streets used to access the market use cobblestones and old, rough paving. The market can be accessed from a smooth surface via High Street. The market itself is also smoothly paved.

Toilets

St Nicholas Market has gender segregated public bathrooms around the sides of the main indoor market which are free to use.

The nearest wheelchair accessible toilet is at Source Food Hall and Café on Exchange Avenue, which is open to non-customers as part of the Community Toilet Scheme. They are free to use.
