The Season 5 Premiere Meet

It’s been so long… so, so long; but SEASON FIVE is finally here! Oh thank goodness…

And with it, our episode meets are back and bigger than ever! Bigger venue, bigger plans! As always with our premiere and finale meets, we ask that you répondez s’il vous plaît in order to ensure your place.

If you’re unable to RSVP because you do not have a UK of Equestria account, please get in contact with Kim and we’ll take a note of your attendance.

Meet Plan

The more things change, the more they stay the same…

11:00am–11:30am Starbucks

Collecting ourselves at our commercial caffeine depository. Please stay clear of the doors and don’t cause a huge hullaballoo.

11:30am–12:30pm The Knights Templar

Fill up on food and drink now, just in case you’re having too much fun later to remember to sustain your vital bodily functions.

1:00pm–8:30pm YHA Bristol

We’ve booked out the Bristol YHA hostel for the entirety of the day, just for you! With a multitude of comprehensive multi-track, drift-compatible events planned throughout the remainder of the day.

We’ll also be serving free light food and refreshments for when you’re peckish but don’t want to leave the building. It’s all part of the experience!

ALL DAY: Art & writing competitions

Throughout the day we’ll be running two competitions revolving around art and writing. Both are open to anyone and the only restriction is that it needs to be safe for work—nothing filthy. The selected winner of each competition will receive a to-be-determined prize!

ALL DAY: Games Bronies Play

Throughout the length of the day we’ll be partaking of our first and monogamous love: games. This not only includes our regular tabletop fares of Cards Against Humanity and Ticket to Ride, but we’ll also be bringing along a Nintendo Wii so people can Brawl it out with the Smash Brothers… or maybe they’ll Just Dance.

1:00pm–1:30pm: Entry and introductions

Hello! Salut! Hallo und herzlich willkommen! We’ll be introducing you proper to the days events here, and laying down the laws of the land for our stay at the YHA.

1:30pm–2:00pm: Whose Line Is It Anypony?

The comedy improv show with a pony twist! A mainstay of our premiere and finale meets, Whose Line? can make even the crankiest donkey crack a smile.

2:00pm–3:00pm: It’s a Quiz

Our pony pub quiz comes around again! Rack your brains for the knowledge of episodes long since passed! Winning team wins a prize!

3:00pm–4:00pm: The season 4 catchup

It’s been nearly an entire year since season 4 ended. Let that sink in. As such, we’ll be providing a refresher of the season 4 finale, just so things are all worked out in your head.

4:00pm–5:00pm: The actual season 5 premiere!

No ifs or buts about it, we’re showing the brand new episodes on a big screen and with nice sound. Because that’s what you pony lovers are actually here to see!

5:00pm–6:00pm: Interval

A short time to go out and grab a sandwich and drink; because humans need regular sustenance too.

6:00pm–6:30pm: Competition results

We’ll be announcing the results of the art and writing competitions here. This includes dramatic readings of all of the stories.

6:30pm–7:30pm: Lauren Faust and Company’s Amazing Ponydrome

Our not-endorsed-by-Lauren Faust Ponydrome will be making a comeback, as we spend an hour to take you through the wonderful world of pony hiatus video content.

7:30pm–8:15pm: The mashup (almost) hour (TBC)

Playin’ music and takin’ names. We’ll be winding down the day by putting on some sweet tunes and just letting y’all ride it out, cool-like.

8:15pm–8:30pm: Close

So long, farewell, auf Wiedersehen, goodnight. The meet is over. Sadtimes. :C
