We’re back at the multi-headed beast’s bookstore for this one. Space is, as always, limited, so be sure to RSVP if you haven’t already!

Gameshows Bronies Play

We have a long history of doing quizzes at premiere and finale meets, but after digging down to find the answer to the 476th pony-specific general knowledge question we figured everyone could use a change of scene.

Thus, Gameshows Bronies Play! It’s like a quiz, but with buzzers! And jokes! And probably some singing! No longer is it good enough to be the smartest—now you need to be the quickest, funniest, and probably other adjectives too!

Some people just can’t help but to play games, even when it’s not a gaming meet. We’re terrible enablers in that sense.

6:00pm–7:00pm Forbidden Planet

Popping up to the Planet before it shuts. They don’t stock much by way of pony things nowadays, but if you’re a fan of basically anything else, they’ll probably have something for you.

By train

The nearest railway station is Bristol Temple Meads (approx. 440 feet away).

Upon arriving at Temple Meads, continue straight ahead after exiting the ticket barrier and leave via the side entrance into the Temple Meads car park. The Starbucks is located in a row of shops on the other side of the car park.

By bus

Most local buses will stop in proximity to Bristol Temple Meads. Use the First Bus website to find the best route for you.

Bristol Bus and Coach Station is 0.9 miles away. If opting not to walk, go to the bus stop on Nelson Street (B3), and from there catch the number 8 bus to Bristol Temple Meads (5 stops).

By car

The nearest parking is at Bristol Temple Meads, which has both indoor and outdoor parking spaces available at different day rates, and free parking for motorcycles.

Also nearby are the council-operated Temple Gate car park (0.3 miles away) and the Bristol First Hotel car park (0.2 miles away), the latter of which has a four hour maximum stay.

Bristol Temple Meads railway station has free short stay parking for up to 20 minutes—which may be useful for quick drop offs or pick ups—located at the front of the station.

By bike

A large amount of on-street cycle parking is located directly outside of the Starbucks. Sheltered (but not enclosed) bicycle parking is present nearby towards Temple Meads.

Wheelchairs

We typically meet in the upstairs area of this Starbucks, which is not wheelchair accessible. If you use a wheelchair and plan to attend, please give us a heads up and we’ll aim to congregate downstairs instead.

The entrance doors to this Starbucks are a split design and may be difficult to operate from a wheelchair. There is a call button on the outside of the door for those requiring assistance.

Toilets

A wheelchair accessible toilet is available on the ground floor.
